do you think we as mankind would actually listen and subsequently change for the better? Or not?

I would hope so, but I doubt it. Even when the Israelites witnessed the miracles and wonders while wandering in the desert, their initial sense of awe and reverence for God's majesty and provision for them dissipated, and many fell to complaining and idol worship. Unfortunately, we would probably do the same.

No.... There to many beliefs in what they think is God...maybe, some people would think it's the devil mimicking God. No one ever heard God speak to hear his voice, how would we know?
God also gave us the choice of free will and I think still many people will use that free will....such as Satan worshipers. But they can believe what they want....I know I believe and change for the better the best I can! I will become a hermit as much as possible to avoid any influence around me! lol

They'd say,"Hey, man! Yeah, you up there in the clouds, you don't sound like God. You're so going to hell for impersonating God!

I even think if Jesus were to walk forth from the clouds not ten minutes would have passed before someone called him a homo and tried to beat his brains out.

If mankind really wanted to be better it would be better, however, we don't, so we won't.

Forget about mankind itself. Each individual has their own cross to bear. Of course in the scriptures one has asked God would he spare a city if he found one righteous person. Personally, prayer can sometimes be selfish.

There is no way to verify that it was God by any way other than Logic. I was always told to not follow logic while being a Christian - being that there is no way to verify his existence. So there would be no way to deduce it was God not some cruel joke. Therefore no I wouldn't listen, I try to do all that I can everyday in all my dealings though.

Nope. Man has turned against Him and man's heart has turned to stone. God has given his "audible voice" to us already in the Bible, and havent you seen the answers to that on this site? Enough said.

We were just talking about something like that, and no I don't believe anything would change,People would either not believe it was him or the others would seek out the devil just so they could be disagreeable.

Some would, some wouldn't. As long as Satan is the ruler of this world, there will always be non-believers, and those who want to do evil.

I wish, I hope, but somehow in my gut I don't really think we would. I think we would be like the Isrealites and just keep on misbehaving. I would like for him to say to us "People! Knock this sh!t off!"
