You know like how people think your gothic, emo, preppy, popular, ect. I myelf find it annoying but I just want to se what other people think.

Only ignorant people do that !!!!!!!
They have so little knowledge of people of different ethnicity's or cultures or nations or religions etc; they have to stereotype them to understand them !!!
As for goths preps an what not , that ain't really stereo type its just people dressing an acting under a norm , like a rule .
So that in reality lol , i just now noticed , is the only true stereo type out there because if you want to act, talk, and dress like a certain group, and Lose your integrity ! I think you deserve to be stereo typed !
PS If anyone ever tell's you if your sensitive an a boy your Gay ! P U N C H him in the face !!!
Im not kidding that is the biggest lie , anyone has ever told me !!!
THE greatest men in history (most womena are sensitive so...) Have been SENSITIVE!

LIke if I stero type German's as "nazis" an leave it at that !
Like i would never find out , about The rich German history ! Or Great German composer's ! Or the Beautiful German traditional dress an dances ! Or German contributions to Human society ! or The awsome German military history ! etc etc etc !

I think it is horrible to categorize and or make gross generalizations about an ENTIRE group of people. Within each group, there are so many differences that, with a logical mind, one would appreciate and embrace such. People are people and you have both good and bad within each group, sub-group, etc.
It is my hope that one day, society can judge a person by the content of his or her character, as opposed to arbitrary factors . . . this dream, Dr King's dream, was/and continues to be shared by some of our nation's most prominent and influential leaders . . .

I think people who stereotype are ignorant. It's easy to do but I have been wrong so many times from just assumptions that I have learned that it's best not to.

Its a way of life, someone who are a stereotype will stereotype other people!!! Stereotyping has been in every culture for 5,000 years of history!!

It depends who you stereotype. When classifying or identifying, stereotyping is a useful and functional tool for communcation. Stereotyping is fine if it is not used with malice.
