i really don't know what decade in particular, but i have had several good years out of all the decades in general. i started school in the sixties, graduated from high school on 79, joined Army on 79, got married in 80, had my first child in 81, second child 82, third child 85, fourth child 86, divorce 94, son go GED 99, daughter graduated 01, son joined marines 03, last son graduated 04, this is not including three of my children's weddings, my four grand children's births and all the fun times i had from 1961 to the present day, i have had a lot of fun times and sad times during my whole life but having the best decade, i have to say they all have been my best. just because of having my life to live and learn from.

The 90's. The president balance the budget, and America was on the way out of a Major defecit. However Bush erased all that. The 70's were not the greatest decade. Unless you think the current decade is one for the records as well.

The seventies were horrible. Polyester clothes, shag carpeting, avocado green appliances, rusting cars. The only good thing about the seventies was some of the music: Elton John, The Carpenters, and John Denver, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, YES, and Rush.
For me, the 80's were the best. We had Ronald Reagan and the dollar was really strong.

I think the best decade of my life was the 70's. I had a good job, a hot car, and Nixon resigned!

Definitely the 90's. Out of high school and successful in my career. The economy was booming and I made a ton of money. The world was safe so I was able to travel the globe. Fell in love, bought and renovated a 1907 house in a fantastic neighborhood in the city.

For me it was the 90s but i'm only 24. I'd say that the 90s were the peek of the U.S. giving how everything is starting to get worse now, but I could be wrong. hopefully the next decade will be better.

Personally the 90's I became an adult and had my freedom for the first time! I love the music from the era and the hope that the Cold War was finally coming to an end.

The 80's here. I loved the music (yeah, go ahead and laugh), and it was the decade of Reagan and Pac-Man. Oh, to be a teen again - well, those parts of it anyway. The other aspects of my teen years pretty much sucked.
