it should be valid in any emergency room/hospital...

if you move have your case transferred to the state your going to

I was told that it was NOT good outside of Florida. You would be sent a bill & then you had to contact Medicaid & file a claim to see if they would pay for it (most likely they will if it was an emergency). If it's not a necessity to use it right away then I would call your local DCF office & see if they can help you. (On the back of your medicaid card there is a 1-800 # that you can try to contact also, be sure to have social security #'s on hand when you call to make it go faster)

im from the mid west and im moving south my doctor told me we would have to re apply in the state that i was moving to....so are you moving or visiting

as your case worker about it
