Pink Floyd is awesome, I love them too, especially Comfortably Numb. They're so unique though that I can't think of anyone who's like them. According to Yahoo though, similar artists would be Cream, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Rush, The Who, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, ZZ Top, Steve Miller Band, The Rolling Stones, Boston, Van Halen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Beatles, Eagles, Tom Petty and Black Sabbath. It makes sense since they're all my favorites too.

Quite simply, PINK FLOYD RULES!!!

My favorite album is Wish You Were Here (actually, the title track may be my favorite Floyd song), with The Wall a close second. Other must-listens for those unlucky people who have yet to experience Floyd would be "Comfortably Numb", "Time", "Wots Uh The Deal", "Welcome To The Machine", "Money", "Dogs", and "Hey You."

I also own DVD's of the Pink Floyd "Live At Pompeii" documentary and a Roger Waters-led all-star performance of "The Wall" live in Berlin 1990. Both are worth catching.

As far a similarity, it is easier for me to pick out songs from other artists that have a "Floydian" quality. "Time" by The Alan Parsons Project is a good example. I personally think "Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche has this quality.

Pink Floyd is great! I like Comfortably Numb and Another Brick in the Wall. It really is hard to name a band with a similar style but maybe someone like The Who may be somewhat similar.

Pink Floyd is awesome. The most talented musicians to date in my opinion. There aren't any other bands that sound like Pink Floyd, that's why they are so amazing! If you have already really listened to all of their albums, then I suggest you listen to Roger Waters, and David Gilmour's solo albums, which are still great pieces of work.
I have found that even after listening to ALL of their albums, I can always go back and listen, and find something new that I never noticed before.
Also, they have a ton of live albums, listen to them, and if you haven't seen "The Wall" yet, watch it!
