Men (regardless of color or ethnic background) aren't "turning gay", as you put it... it's only that with more social acceptance and understanding, those men/women who ARE homesexual need not pretend any longer to be something that they're not. People need to consider that homosexuals can no more change their sexual preference than can heterosexuals... why the hell would any person subject themselves to the ridicule and/or bashings (verbal or physical) by homophobes if they could control or hide the way they were created? They would then fall more into the category of being helpless masochists than true homosexuals, if they enjoyed the beatings and sometimes even death at the hands of those who find their existence as being a threat or unpleasant to the sensibilities of certain heteros.
By the way christians, your god made them just as he made you only differently, so step right back down from your soapboxes and smooth your feathers, unruffle your fur, unbunch your panties... EVERYTHING, accept it or not, isn't explained in the little black book you have clutched in your hands (by the way, why IS it black?).

First of all, men don't "turn" gay. They're either gay or they're not! Although I know there are some who'll disagree with me, being gay is NOT a choice any more than being straight is a choice. If it was a choice, why would people choose to be gay when it means they'll have to endure so much hatred and scorn from society? People are gay because they are gay. They are still people, though, just like you are.

As stated here above, men don't turn gay. A man is on one side of the fence or the other. I've been hit on three times by gay men, and once by a lesbian (yes, that really did happen). Women may hop or straddle the fence, though.

Men don't turn gay, they are born gay. They just have more courage to come out of the closet and be more open about it these days, as it is a little more accepted as it used to be.

i don't think more and more men/women are turning gay. it is the society and its liberal conventions that's encouraging gays and lesbians to come out of the closet. statistically, the number of gay people in the total population is about constant at 10% for the last 50 years. the difference is that 50 years ago, gay people were afraid to come out for fear of discrimination and imprisonment so majority of them were in the closet, hiding. but now, with the ongoing liberal attitude about sexuality, coming out is no longer a problem. in fact, i have 2 buddies who are gay and i'm not bothered by this or my masculinity/heterosexuality threatened. i guess i'm liberal about this matter. cheers!

Maybe more are being born with that DNA construct so that the principles of judgment and prejudice and chastisement et al, can be resolved once and for all in order to raise the consciousness of our humanity. More are coming or allowing themselves to admit it so that we can truly understand the idea of equality and loving all in the Oneness. It is not a stigma, it is an experience of the soul.

i have a gay best friend. most guys know that they are gay from the beginning but deny it because of the society we live in. its hard to be gay today. People what to place judgment when god should be the only judge. they know what they are doing.

maybe they are scared.....open your eyes to the world and watch society be judgmental on what they do not understand.
