When I search these terms I keep getting Mexicans driving in America or American tourists in Mexico. I don't want either. I want to know if there's a Mexican equivalent of DMV. What are the driving laws in Mexico for Mexicans? Are they enforced? Is insurance required of their drivers? Are there online sources to answer this question?

I dont know, I do Know my little sister got hit by an illegal about 2 days after she got her license. Poor kid was on her way to work and an illegal hit her in her brand new car . He had no license, the car wasn't insured, and it wasn't his.

So I would guess they are pretty relaxed about who drives in Mexico
