Honestly, does it? I understand if men would want a women to at least have some kind of upkeep regarding her fingernails, but do they honestly care if we have a french manicure or our nails painted any color for that matter? Just wondering.

I think men rarely see the details. They are not going to comment " What a wonderful French manicure. And I love that color!"
They will notice if you spent the time to do your nails, hair, makeup, a new dress and shoes. All that effort will warrant a "You look nice tonight."

We have different kinds of toys that we play with. We can wear long or short skirts, instead of having to wear ugly old shorts. We have a purse and a pair of shoes FOR EVERY OCCASION. We can choose whether or not to wear makeup. We have a massage while getting our hands done. We like to show off our large hips. (at least I do) Chocolate is just delicious. The whole closet belongs to us. Weddings can have planners. Sometimes a man's last name will change... and we do not have to take yours if we do not want. EVERYONE can get age spots. We dont have to shave our faces. (MOST OF US) We can keep the same hairstyle too, but its more fun to change it. We can shop in 25 minutes too (GIFT CARDS) Wrinkles add character on women too We pack more because we like to look good everywhere we go Women dont necessarily have to wear blistering shoes Righty tighty lefty loosy MEN DO NOT HAVE ONE MOOD ALL THE TIME We do not have to buy an expensive wedding dress... we can hit up a $99 sale and keep our dress, while you pay 100 to rent your tux.

Women always will tell you to get it "done" men just like the moderate nails with one color or clean polish.
We do not really see the need for a fancy design or finish. I like moderate length nails with a clear or a dramatic color. If you are going to use a light pink, why bother. Dramatic or clear. If you can clean you nails and keep them smooth, than just do it yourself. Polish or no polish is really your option. I might not even notice.

it would depend on the man, but most do like a girl with nice nails, not a biter. and for color i would go with something soft and natural, i have found that guys think the dark or bright colors send the wrong message

My husband does not care what my nails look like. I keep them filed ,but they aren't long and I don't wear polish that much.

I have read that women only paint there fingernails because they like it and mean frankly dont really care.

Doesnt really bother me if there done or not i just like them long enough to scratch my back. hehe :) My gf's fingernails anyways haha

I think it's good to have your nails polished because then if you get dirt under them it doesn't show.

Men probably don't pay attention to them, as far as I can tell, I guess manicures are mostly for fun. (though they aren't very fun...)
