no at all, my husband spent most of the time staring to the TV screen, and put off all his responsibilities. and now What? his team lost and he has many problems to solve. Not mentioning that i am one of his problems that he has to face. he forgot my birthday and our anniversary at the same time. let's see if the FIFA could help him. he will get a red card from the house.

You young whipper snappers don't be so rude. The results of the World Cup left me with mixed emotions. I thought Germany did an exceptional job in hosting the games. I am in the US but was not particularly disappointed at our teams performance as I had not built my hopes up for more anyway. As for the finals. I did not feel the two best teams were represented but as always that is dictated by points scored, which can be influenced by a number of factors, and certainly not by who shows the most skill and talent on the field. Has it in anyway changed my feelings about the game. Heaven's No - I've been addicted for near 25 years.

I have been addicted to the REAL football since I was introduced to it many years ago. It is by far the best game in the world! I was devasted to see my team (Germany) lose in the semi's, but was proud to see them redeem themselves against Portugal. I watched the final today and was glad to see Italy win (yes, I know they beat my Germany), but I think they wanted it more. Also, I was shocked at Zidane's vicious head butt of the Italian player. I don't care what was said to him, he is too high level a player to loose his cool like that. He's no young pup like Rooney either, to be loosing his control like that. France lost their will after that. All in all an interesting cup, but mostly terrible ref's.
