I *love* playing cards on Yahoo. Spades (especially suicide), Hearts, and Euchre are my games. :)
make sure you have an account with yahoo
go to http://www.java.com/en/ and download the java software. Its free and will automatically find what browsers you have on your machine and create hooks for them.
make sure you've got pop ups allowed.
go to games.yahoo.com/sp and doubleclick on one of the lounge names.
Everything else that might be a problem pretty much depends on which specific browser you're using, but if you're still having problems, email me and I'll walk you through it.

Go to Yahoo Games Help and look for question: "Why is my game not loading?" It gives you several reasons and solutions.

Check all your web browser security settings, you could have something disabled that is required to access the rooms.

do not turn off popup blocker or you get them. just do this. yahoo games use popups to enter game rooms. you need to go to popup blocker on yahoo tool bar add always allow yahoo to the list.
