The Middle East is the region composed of countries between Asia, Europe and Africa like Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and others. Pakistan is in Asia, Sudan and Tunisia are in Africa and Turkey is physically located in Asia but participates in European Affairs. Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Turkey are not part of Middle East but only influential in Middle East affairs.

The Middle East was an area in Asia, but it was not Oriental like the far eastern part of Asia (India, China, Japan, etc.)... This area became known as the Middle East because it was in Asia between Europe and the Orient.

I would say all of the Arabian Peninsula, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Israel.
NOT Egypt or Sudan or any of North Africa or Turkey, or Afghanistan or Pakistan or any other stans.

look at the world map. middle east is mostly Muslim countries like Iran, Iraq, Soddy Arabia, Kuwait, u.a.i. Lebanon, Palestine , Oman, Yemen, Israel.
Pakistan was pare of India, that's south Asia.
Sudan, Tunisia that's part of Africa
turkey is a Muslim Kurd people's country, north of Iraq, but looks like an European country.
