It is unnecessary to denounce your citizenship to study in Cuba. Although the Bush administration has placed greater restrictions on travel, some universities have obtained special travel permits from the treasury department.

Will the Cubans let you study in Cuba?

Go to Key West. Buy an inner tube and paddle to Cuba. You'll be noticed as you will be the only one going in that direction.

Are you sure you want to do that? You might want to come back to the US eventually. (Like when you get tired of standing in line for toilet paper, or waiting six months to see a doctor, or sitting in prison for speaking out against Castro.)
