If the average temperature today is 50 degrees and it's actually zero. Then twice as cold would be -50 degrees.

Assuming that you mean Zero Celsius then it will be 32 Fahrenheit today.
Therefore it will be 16 Fahrenheit tomorrow.
16 Fahrenheit is -9 Celsius

If you meant 0 Fahrenheit, then this is -18 Celsius,
Twice as cold is -32 Celsius, this is -26 Fahrenheit.

Hope this helps.

Do you mean zero degrees Fahrenheit or zero degrees Celcius? If it's zero Celsius, then that converts to 378 Kelvins. Half of that temperature would be 189 Kelvins.

Zero Fahrenheit: converting to Celsius, then to Kelvin, yields 180.111111111 Kelvins.

It depends on what temperature you are used to in the first place. For example, if you are used to it being 40 degrees, then 0 degrees is 40 less than the usual, so twice that would be 80 less than your usual. That would be -40 degrees.
So it really depends on what your "usual" temperature is.

That is a great question. My guess is that it is going to be much, much colder. The weather question that always throws me is when the weatherman says we have a 50% chance of rain. It is either going to rain or it isn't. Does that really tell us anything.?
