The Penguins were talking about him, but I haven't heard anything lately. He would really help the team.

If they can get Malkin on the team (not done yet since the Russian league wants boat loads of money to let him go) the Pens are going to be extremely tough to stop with Crosby, Malkin and Staal.

And he can't play anywhere else than Pittsburgh, that's the team that drafted him and until he reaches the ripe old age for UFA he will stay Pittsburgh property.

Actually he was playing in a Russian League and Russia refused to sign in with the new CBA, although the other International Leagues did. As you can guess they worked it out since then so Malkin should be with the Pens next season.

He is supposed to the pundits say. The Russian Hickey Federation and the NHL fianlly signed a 2 year agreement allowing NHL teams to retain them before playing in Russia.

Oh guy that ought to've quite been undesirable. Thank god for the visor and the right perspective. An inch or 2 lowerand Zednick II. scary incidents. a minimum of Malkiin wasn't severly injured. i understand they use some neck safe practices in spite of the indisputable fact that it is often only a mild fam layer which isn't too beneifciary yet beats no longer some thing, i understand regrettably it is going to take some thing tragic and deadly for the NHLPA to irequire better neck safe practices. purely some thing no longer going overboard yet some thing to diminish the prospect To the idiots who don't like helmets or visiors open your eyes

He is supposed to and I really hope that he does. It's going to be a great season either way but it would be AWESOME if he could play over here this year.
