I just replaced the battery and am still having the problem. the car hesitates to start but will. The light comes on at high speeds or RPM and especially on the freeway in excess of 65 MPH. When driving around the city..no problem until I hit the gas hard. What is wrong with it?

they say 3 is magical. when replacing your battery check your starter and alternator- they'll soon need to be changed too. Sometimes just too much juice from the battery can affect your old alternator.

Definitely. Loose alternator belt. You also might want to see if your battery terminals are loose or corroded. I've seen it happen to alot of people. It might save you... 300 bucks?

go to your local parts store and they will do a free alternator check and determine whether it it a bad alternator or loose belt or neither,it could be a wiring problem, loose etc!

I beleive that your alternator belt is loose.
If it is loose then it will not charge you battery.
If your belt is tight then it will be your alternator.

Good luck.
