any good or bad experiences using ebay?? wat?? describe them

I got burned once. Filed a complaint,but never saw the money or the product. Thankfully that was the only time I ever had problems. I am a regular on Ebay so once in 4 years ain't too bad. One piece of advice...Check their rating and see how reliable they are. If they have over a 95% rating they are probably ok. Another thing to look at is how long they have been trading on Ebay. If they are new...you take a chance. Ebay keeps pretty good track of people who either don't send the product you ordered or who refuse to refund you money if what you bought is not what was represented properly.(torn pages in a comic book that is said to be "mint" condition) You can have a very positive experience with Ebay if you are careful. Great, if you use it right. Great source for collecting things... But I would never buy anything overly expensive from sellers in say Kazahstan or Romania....
