They do deserve it. They may not have been my choice for the World Cup initially - that would be Germany - but I think they worked really hard for their place in the final as well as they were consistently good throughout the tournament and that makes them worthy of the cup. Even I will admit they were excellent against Germany and deserved to be in the Final. Today they proved that they deserved to win after their performance against France.

Italy deserved the World Cup afterall considering that they beat France who beat Brazil, the tournament favorite. All teams were beaten now except Italy.

FORZA ITALIA!!! Congratulations to the amazing Gigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Alessandro Del Piero, Adrea Pirlo, Zambrotta, Camoreneisi, Gattuso, Toni, Totti...etc. They deserved to win seeing as they beat all the other teams. Penalty kicks are a toss up, Italy came through in the end. Like they had come through the game, with a strong defense & a attacking offense.

yes, they deserve it more than france. because france only had gone thru the finals by penalties wyl italy did it by marking up winning goals on the game.
