I'm sure it's harmful anywhere. that stuffs toxic

I went through 3 days of volcanic ash fallout from Mt. St. Helen's. It came out of the sky like big snowflakes for 3 solid days. When we had to go outside we had to wear surgical masks. We were told not to drive our cars because it would ruin the carburetor. Obviously you don't want to be out in it much, no deep breathing from jogging, etc. I think it was very good for the garden, but not much else.
