Blush has long been considered a beauty must. With just a few brush strokes, you can lift a flat or pale complexion to a pretty glow.
Steps:
1. Consider blush colors that match the color of your cheeks after an aerobic workout. Such shades mimic your natural coloring and help you avoid having cheeks that look painted or artificial.
2. Head to a department store and have a makeup artist assist you in finding a complementary shade. Check your options in natural lighting whenever possible.
3. Remember, the darker your skin tone, the darker your blush should be. Women with fair complexions usually look best in pink or coral shades, while darker complexions are enhanced by wine or burgundy hues.
4. Keep daytime blush light in tone. Opt for a heavier application to create a more dramatic evening look.
5. Match the undertones in your lipstick to the color of your blush. If your lips are red, opt for a pink or reddish cheek color. For pink or rose-colored lips, opt for similar hues in your blush color.
Tips:
Avoid choosing a color just because you think it looks pretty in the case. To enhance your beauty, it must complement your coloring.
Consider bronzer as an alternative to blush. Applied to all areas of the face, it gives a sun-kissed glow without any damaging rays.

Hi! Makeup is very simple. I can make myself up excelently, the whole nine yards, but it never feels as good as minimal makeup.
Daily, you should cleanse first thing in the morning and make sure all your makeup from the previous day is off. Next, use a toner. Finaly, moisturize your face AND your neck.
Then, use a concealer. I use a cheap kind, called NYC. It is a tube concealer. Cover up pimples and under eye circles with this. Then use a foundation, I like the liquid kind but only if it is expensive and doesn't leave lines. If you are going for something for less money, use Cover Girl. I think it is called Liquid to powder, it is in a pure black compact. Its awesome! Cover up your entire face and blend in to your neck, very lightly.
If you think your skin gets shiny, or you get sweaty during the Summer then use a basic powder. I use Cover Girl. Dust that on lightly and then top it off with a bronzer. Use a light bronzer if you have light skin, make sure it is blended. Apply on your cheeks upwards to your eyes, but mainly around your eyes. It looks better. I use a shimmer powder over top of that.
Then, put on a light blush. Make sure it is a very light pink or a light peach, I never use red or crimson. That is what your bronzer is for, blush should just give a bit of a flushed look. Be careful with the stuff, and make sure NO MAKEUP LINES!
Next, curl your lashes. There is no point in mascara unless your lashes are curled! Trust me, I never used to think I needed to use one but it makes a big difference. After your curl them, put on mascara. Make sure it is heavy, but not too heavy! Dont let there be clumps! I use soft black Revlon Mascara, it is awesome.
You should be done, but if you want apply some light eyeshadow or shimmer eyeshadow. I hate dark colours, so I stick to nudes, bronzed, pearl or light shimmery eye shadows. No black, no brown and definately no blue! I use a brown eyeliner because it looks way more natural than black! Black is way too harsh! I apply to both my upper eyelid and my lower one.
Lipstick should never be applied from the tube, just use your fingertip to blot it. Any colour will do as long as its not over done. I stick with a plain shimmery or clear lipgloss. Lip plumping lip gloss is the best, but pricey. I also like Bonne Bell wet lip gloss. I hate those shimmery kinds, ew!

Make-up is to ENHANCE what you already have...not give you something that you don't have.
So apply your make-up with that idea in your head...go easy on the eye make-up and foundation...especailly for the summer! You want a natural, "I'm not wearing any make-up" look.
Mascara, a little blush, lip-gloss and some concealer will do it!
Remember, less is more!

Oh my goodness, where do I start? Here's a list in no particular order:
1. Match your foundation to your actual skincolor, not the color you wish your skin to be (such as tan).
2. If your foundation doesn't look right, none of your makeup will look right. Your best bet when shopping for a new foundation is to pick 3 colors you think that may work for you and apply a stripe of each vertically on your jawline. Then take a mirror and go outside in daylight and see which one seems to disappear into your skin. This is the foundation for you. Obviously this works best with department store brands as they have testers easily accessable, but many drugstore brands are selling foundation samples in packs of 3 similar shades so you can do this exact same experiment at home.
3. If a blush comes with a little brush, throw it out! Blush should be applied with a large fluffy blush brush, this will give the most natural look. Blush applied with the tiny brush will only give you racing stripes.
4. Speaking of brushes, invest in a good set as soon as you can afford to. Shu Uemura and Kevyn Aucoin make the very best brushes in the world, but they usually have pricetags to match. Sephora and MAC make great brushes that are much more affordable, although some are still a little pricey. But it's better to pick one or two up at a time and eventually having an amazing set of brushed that will last you a lifetime if cared for properly than to never have any good brushes at all. If you're younger (or on a tigher budget) Maybelline actually makes a decent Powder, Blush, Eyeshadow & Lipstick brush, all very affordable. I also hear Sonia Kashuk's Target line has some decent brushes.
5. Do no buy those prepaged brush sets you see at the drug store or at Target or Walmart. They're never worth it. Pick up a higher quality brush when and as you can afford it.
6. Do not line your lips in a color that is darker than your lipstick. Your lipliner should very closely match the color of your lipstick.
7. Do not overdraw your lips to make them look bigger, you can always tell it's fake.
8. Balance your makeup look - if you are going for a dark smokey eye balance it with a light neutral lip. If you're going for a deep crimson red or burgendy lipstick, lighten up on the eyeshadow & liner.
9. Invest in a decent lash curler. Shu Uemura makes my favorite but Maybelliene makes a decent one too. Curling your eyelashes totally opens up your eyes, even if you use mascara too. Start at the base of your lashes and gently "pump" the curler up and out to the tips of your lashes. Always curl your lashes before applying mascara, never after.
10. Do not apply bronzer in one even coat all over the face. Bronzer should be applied with a large fluffy brush to the area where the sun would naturally hit - the forehead, down the center of the nose, the chin and across and up the cheeks.
11. Eyebrows are important. Don't over or underpluck your brows. If you need to fill in your brows because you overplucked or because you just want more definition, choose brow pencil/powder color as follows: for blondes, go slighty darker than your natural color. For redheads go for a neutral brown with just a hint of red that's just a little bit lighter than your haircolor. For brunettes: try to match your haircolor shade exactly, unless your hair is jet black, then go for a medium/dark brown.
12. Don't be afraid to experiment. Makeup is supposed to be fun, it's not like a tattoo, if you mess up or don't like it just wash it off or don't apply it in that style again. Don't be afraid of color, but also don't overdo it, especially if it's for the office or school.
13. Don't be afraid to throw out your makeup when it's old. Mascara should be replaced every 3 months, most powder products can last two years if kept dry, liquid foundation can last about a year, lipgloss should be used within a year and lipstick can last up to two years. However, if you ever have any doubts about a cosmetic and whether it's still good, be on the safe side and just throw it out. It's not worth an eye infection or a skin breakout or a bad makeup job!
There's so much more I could add - but these are some of the things I think are very important.

I think that natural tone colours look the best on everyone. Go for the less is more look. Not too much make up but some lipgloss and some concealer.

Cleanse your face gently morning & night. Don't rub or pull your skin & pat dry gently to help avoid wrinkles as you grow older. Use lotion or moisturizer every day.
Go as natural as you can.
Use an spf block every day to avoid sun damage to your skin.

if you live in a humid climate and have oily skin always use oil free make up
if you are out in the sun during summer, dont use concealor or glitter, they tend to be shiny in the sun
