how do i get my downloads of the sims into my game??

i downloaded things from 4eversimfantasy and i cant get them into the game um i also downloaded things from modthesims2 and i waz able to get them into the game with Q xpress.. i tried to get them into the game with that too but i couldnt if someone has downloaded something from there how did you get them into the game plz help..........

You need to extract the files into your sims2 downloads folder. The downloads folder is located here: C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads. Qxpress automatically will do this for you, but modthesims2 is the only site that uses that (i think) so if you download from other sites you will have to manually unzip/unrar the files to the sims2 downloads folder. If the download is a sims2pack installable package (blue icon looks kinda like a printer), then just double click it and it will install itself into the correct folder.
