All babies are different and you have to learn your baby's cues. If your baby acts hungry, feed him no matter how long ago he ate. There is a general rule that a baby will eat 2.5 ounces times his body weight in a 24 hour period. So, you should expect a 12lb baby to drink about 30 oz per day. Of course every baby is different, but a one-month-old baby will drink about 4-6 ounces of milk every 2-3 hours.
Good luck.

Every baby is an individual. Brand new newborns usually only drink a half an ounce or even less and it is perfectly normal. Babies who are one month old probably are drinking about an ounce to two and a half ounces at a "sitting" and probably need more about 2 to 3 hours again. I fed my children with bottles, so if you were talking about nursing, maybe someone else can give you some info.

As everyone will tell you every baby is different. But if it helps.... 4 oz.'s every 2-3 hours. She\he probably won't drink but 3 oz and thats o.k. powdered formula can only be made with 2 oz scoops. And if your talking breastmilk then when they want it as much as they want. Hope this helps.

All babies are different. When they are a month old give them as much as they want. I can't remember what mine was eating at that time, I want to say 2-3ozs ever 2-3 hours.

is it formula or breastmilk? formula is harder for the baby to digest so they stay full longer. breastmilk is easily broken down so breastfed babies need to eat more often.
