"Rear Window". The concept of seeing everything from an outsider's point of view. You get to use your imagination when watching the characters across the way from Jimmy Stewart . . . most movies take the watcher's imagination away from them, but this movie encourages it. In addition, the main characters are portrayed superbly. Raymond Burr is chilling, though he has almost no lines at all. Grace Kelly and Jimmy Stewart have great chemistry, too.

North by Northwest. The plot twists and turns. Cary Grant & Eva Marie-Saint put in memorable performances. And then there's the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

At the end, when the two leads are about to consummate their marriage inside their sleeper cabin, the scene shifts to the train entering a tunnel. Priceless!

Birds was great. Every once in awhile when we see a flock of birds, we start watching them and thinking about that movie.

Just as a FYI - do you know that Hitchcock appeared in all but 1 of his movies? It's fun to sit and watch for him to show up somewhere if you haven't noticed this before.

Strangers on a Train. Because I'm hooked from the beginning. There's murder, blackmail, emotional disturbance, and "just desserts"...all the elements for an awesome movie. Hitchcock at his finest.

Spellbound, because I love Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman, and I enjoyed the interesting psychologial aspect of the story. Also, the Dali-inspired dream sequence was very creative.

Physco was a great movie, the remake with Anne Heche sucked. Anyway, that was his best movie. Also, Rope was good too.
