We have a pair of mating crested geckos and 10 baby crested geckos. However, we are moving to Houston. How do we find appropriate new homes for them all within the next month?

Petco stores will take them, and set them up for adoption.

You can also donate them to your nearest pet store, as they would be happy to take them, and resell them.

You can always put an ad in the paper.

If I was any closer - I'd take them happily!

try kingsnake.com... You can use the forums or the classifieds... You could also try contacting a local reptile breeder or (last resort I'd say) A pet shop or the humane society. You could put an ad in the newspaper classifieds as well. Since you have a mated pair you may have a decent chance at getting a reputable breeder/dealer to take them off your hands

i'd verify and see in the adventure that they are feeding it CGD first of all. If not, it probably already has moderate MBD indicators. As for warmth, you do not favor it till it receives lower than sixty 5*F and continues to be there for lengthy classes of time. if so, i'd use a warmth mat on the facet of the tank. I also doesn't propose mealworms, as they're many times slightly puzzling for a crestie to digest, and that is not uncommon for them to poop it out in simple terms about total. Calcium dusted crickets once per week is nice.

Well first, how much are you charging for them, and do you ship? Because I might be interested in 1 or2. But the easiest way is to post them everywhere online. Every site you can find, especially petfinder.com and domesticsale.com and other sites like that. If you go to a site that just sells reptiles on like msn, you can post them there too. Good Luck!! :)

There is someone asking a question in this reptile section, wanting to know how she could get a free reptile, fish ect.
You may want to look for her question.

Also run an ad in the paper.

talk to reptile dealers. they will give you the best advice. whatever you decide, do NOT advertise them everywhere you can. that's horrible advice. you sound like a caring pet owner so i'm sure you already knew that. good luck!

You should advertise them. Craigslist.com is a good site. But please don't turn them over to someone who isn't responsible or doesn't know how to care for reptiles. If they don't know how to do it, please try to educate them.
