the lakers have saved their money the last 2 seasons with the intention on getting a big name player either this year or next when there will be a few players becoming free agents, la is one of the most wealthy organizations out there and they have a very good chance on getting kg, i heard the same rumor last season, and i think it could happen if is not him it'll be a equaly good player, we'll see.

Kevin Garnett will not be going to the Lakers because they are not a championship team right now. Garnett wants to go somewhere that is already competing for the title. The Lakers are not competing, and if Minnesota were to trade Garnett, it would most likely be to an Eastern Conference team so they wouldnt have to play him much in the regular season and not at all in the playoffs until the Finals.

KG isn't as dominant as he once was. He is slowly declining. The Lakers should sign him for one season. That would give them a good shot at a championship. Then they should trade him off to another team that still thinks he is good for younger players with a lot of potential. They could trade Odom and others and they wouldn't lose much but they should trade if they can.

are you nuts? you must be crazy for asking that stupid question! who do you think the lakers will offer for a kg trade? odom, atkins, and draft picks? kevin mchale should kill himself if he gives in to that bullshit. chucky atkins is not even on the team anymore and i'm pretty sure he wont sign with the lakers because he's had enough of playing with the most arrogant ballhog in the history of the game(does the name kobe ring a bell?). and besides, they just used up majority of their cap space to sign their most prized acquisition of the year... vladimir radmanovic hahahaha even luke walton is better than radmanovic. so lakers fans goodluck next season and i hope you win the title... NOT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If they do land K.G. championship will once again return to L.A.
They will obvioulsy include Lamar Odom, Chucky Atkins, as well as draft picks. Minnisota will want to be in the rebuilding stage.
