It stands for sexually transmitted disease. You can be born with it, or, obviously, you can get it from sex. Not just vaginal sex, you can get it from oral, kissing (sometimes) and other sexual activities. Some are life-threatening, some can make you sterile, and some are treatable. Others you will have for life.

std stands for SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE. u get it from a person u have sex with who already has it, throught blood trasfusion, or just making it up urself. like mmmmmmm if u dont change ur tampons ur guna get vaginosis. thats where bacteria builds up in ur vagina and then this bacteria goes into ur thingy and then ur guna get like sterilized and u might not even get to have a baby.
