Well, I know I do! It's so freakin HOT! It's almost 5:30pm here in California and it's 96 degrees! At least the humidity is only 17%. Heat just wears me out! If I lived somewhere where it's really hot AND has high humidity, I think I'd just melt into nothing. Cool avatar, or whatever they call them.

I don't know about "we" but after spending 17 years in the Great White North of Alaska...where summertime meant you could finally have some sunshine and warmer temperatures...I am actually much more active in the summertime...and fall into laziness in the cold, dark winter months.

YES...
The heat renders us lethargic and makes us tire more easily.

The best way to counteract it is to drink a good amount of pure plain WATER to avoid dehydration. (at least a liter and a half per day).

Eat lightly, and the more fruit and salads you eat the better you will feel!

Heavier foods are preferable for winter, when we need the extra energy to fight off the chiily weather!

Avoid excessive spices, especially pepper...it may make you perspire more heavily!

Wear loose comfortable clothes that don't oppress you.

Stay out of the direct sunlight whenever possible

Yes. Heat makes you tired, and you do less because you have less energy.
