Bush IS spying on us. The government can do whatever it likes and they answer to no one, especially not the citizens of this country. They claim they only spy on the people they feel may have some connection to terrorists, but we all know they spy on anyone they want, for any reason they want. Just make sure when you are on the phone and you hear a series of clicks or beeps you don't say anything against the leaders of this country or they'll be knocking on your door next!

Hmm..I almost wanna say this is a good question but it depends on your age....If you're an adult then you've obviously been influenced way too much by the media in this country. I'm not a republican (independent) but I think on the important issue of fighting terrorism Mr. Bush is doing a good job. (count the attacks against us since 9-11? Then count the attacks in Clinton's eight years. Thankyou)
First of all I don't really think he's on myspace and xanga so much:-) lol. As far as phone calls, they have a database of calls between this country and foreign countries(obviously trying to detect calls to our enemies from inside) and don't illegally 'tap' into our phone calls as the media 'ie...New York Times would love to have you believe. They love insinuating to us that the government is in our closets. Get a life and report real true stories. Thankyou

A) It's a free country, and if you sign up for that and don't know how to properly know how to protect yourself, then it's your fault you get spied on.
B) Where did you hear that? First of all, Bush makes the rules, he can spy on whoever he wants to. Second of all, think about it. He has a nation to father; and several other countries. He has meetings, calls, paperwork, and other stuff like that. Why the heck would he waste his time spying on us? It's dumb once you think about it.

Ehe NSA and the UKs GCHQ have been doing it for years. Every, yes thats right, every call is monitored electronically with a system called 'Echelon' it looks for a number of words. If it detects one of interest the call is recorded and sent to an intelligence analyst. The system has almost certainly been upgraded to be able to look for voice prints as well.
Both the NSA and GCHQ also have the ability to monitor email in the same way. I bet an awful lot of stuff on answers gets read as well.

Every thing he is doing is within the law. The New York Times knows this. They stated that in their article. Everyone who is a critic of Bush (even Murtha) has said that the programs are legal. Not only are they LEGAL, but you have NOTHING to fear if you have nothing to hard.

Whats wrong, scared he might find something? Who cares the government has alot better things to do then worry about if you might be sleeping around, so with that said I highly doubt they'll pay much attention.
Heaven forbid they're able to stop the next attack, just by looking into a little dirty laundry.

The Repuklican social/political strategy is to use embarrassing information to try and shame people in public if they stand up for their rights.
Repukes want to know if you pick your nose, if your kid wets the bed, if you sleep naked.
By obtaining this information, when you challenge them on a serious issue, they use this trivia to make you back down or choke up in the debate.
Repukes are more concerned about blow jobs than human rights.
That's why they spy. to make you quit the debate about important things.

I highly doubt that is true. How does Bush watch/listen to all of us at once? He'd like have to be God or something. And trust me, he's not.

Why worry about it unless you have something to hide. After 911 I would be suspicious also.
