Because that's ALL you Bush supporters do. If Bush lied, flip-flopped, attacked a nation that is less of a threat to a nuclear attack and to democracy than North Korea, condones the same methodical/ritualistic torture in found in various prison camps, gives taxs incentives to coporations that oursource, ANYTHING!--Bush supporters ALWAYS points the finger towards Clinton! Get a life!!! Can't you let this President be accountable for his own actions, instead at constanly pointing the finger towards a past President??? I don't CARE if Nixon was bad, Carter was bad, or if Clinton was bad--LET'S FOCUS ON THE CURRENT PRESIDENT AND ON HOW HE IS RUINING THIS COUNTRY AND THIS WORLD RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

And for your info, I often criticized Clinton's policies while he was President. Now that he is no longer President I have moved on!

I think you should stop criticizing and offer some solutions... Otherwise you're really no better than anyone else.

BTW Clinton is my Hero, Bush is my boss.

I'd do a lot of things differently, but I'd have to be president to know what its really like. When I w as a civilian I used to trash Bush, now i just think he's a foolish coward. Anyone arguing over him being great needs to realize he's failed to maintain the support of the countries that once loved us, even when we were the victims of a terrible atrocity, stupid!

As for those who say we should pull out of Iraq and leave Korea and Iran alone... uhm do you want to die? It seems that way... *sighs*

You will mostly run into this criticism of Clinton when you blame Bush for problems whose seeds were planted during Clinton's administration.

Here's the kind of thing I mean: The Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, during Bush Sr.'s term, but we recognize Reagan, not Bush Sr., as the President who caused its downfall. Why? Because Reagan's policy of increased defense spending caused the Soviets to try to increase theirs to match us, and though it took several years, this eventually caused the whole thing to topple.

Applying this logic to the present:

You claim that Bush was responsible for 9/11 because it happened during his term. Well, if you recall, the first al-Qaeda terrorist attack on US soil took place back in 1993, and several others in the years following. Had Clinton stood up to them and taken bin Laden when he was offered to us, it's very likely that 9/11 would never have happened.

You blame Bush for North Korea threatening us with nukes. Well, who gave them nuclear power? Yep, you guessed it. 1994.

I believe that blaming Clinton is mostly a reaction. Frankly, I'd rather solve problems than point fingers, but if the left insists on laying blame, let's put it where it rightfully belongs - at the source of the problem.

Your point exactly. Every President has done something wrong. Everyone will walk away with something wrong with thier presidency. Name one president where every single person in the country agreed with how things were run. You can't. Bush is running the country. I don't know everything that's going on. I am sure there is more truth out there then what the public knows.

One thing that does annoy me is people who did not vote in the past election and complain. If you didn't vote, you have no right to complain. (directed mainly at the kids who complain on here).

NO it is not if bush actually does. Clinton made mistakes Bush has too.Any person would. The difference is that Clinton were deliberate personal actions and that he stood before a court and under oath lied ( ie said something that he knew was in fact not true)

When asking why some people are reacting..
Hyperbaloe in reaction to hyperbole. It is an illogical emotional reaction of the far right to the fact that no one in the media ( nor you apparenlty) gives him credit for anything that he even gets half right and blames him for things that have nothing to do with him at all, and yes Clinton got beat up too by the right but not by the media like Bush is getting

umm BTW i don't like many things he has done like-- the largest welfare program in US history ( senior drug benefits through medicaid etc), extremly poor expectations and plans about what Iraq would be like when we invaded, refusing to veto all the pork from his fellow republicans

I do like the fact that he has chosen to take the war there.. to those who have sworn to kill us and have activly sought our destruction, rather than let them come here again like 9-11. For example he chose to take out an evil dicator whose stated goal was to destroy american while cooperating with all those( including terrorists) who seek our destruction ...via:
1. WMD which the world demanded saddam destory and then he refused to allow to prove were destroyed ( we have found 500 + wmd- bet you have not read that news item)
2.paying suicide bombers families to kill americans and isrealies
3.before the invasion providing support to terrorist who are sworn to bring down western civlilzation ( documentation found with zaquwri ( yes spelling) at his death shows how he, terroist networks, and saddam were working together

and at least Bush is doing what he said he would do- like enforcing the resolutions that the UN had passed while Clinton was in office

Also again as to why some become angry and unreasonable in blaming Clinton, it is hard for some to consider criticism without having an irrational reaction, when it is from those either do not know how our goverment works or are so angry at the fact that they are not getting thier way that they are willing to ignore what is obvious in order to make their point.. for example

1. you should note that all spending/tax policy is determined by congress not the president- he proposes the budget, they cut it slice it and change and pass it ( umm a little civics lesson maybe in order before making comments about things)ugg on our current congress
2. a lie is saying someting that you know is untrue. Bush did not lie . If he did then so did the entire world including those who were opposed to full UN action .. France, Germany, China, Russia etc were convinced of Saddams impending and real danger and they supplied add'l confirming info about weapons of mass destruction.
3. The general treament of prisoners currently is far better than at any other time of war in history and yes there have been incidents of abuse that are horrible and those responsible should be tried, convicted and punished ala "abugraid( sp ??)"There will always will be it is human nature

last point.. Remember how "we " flushed the koran ( that it is not true proven over and over again)- how is bush responsible for that- is the manager reaponsible when 1 of 100 employees calls a customer a name? that kind of crap is why some go nutso.

just my mid line rant -opps i used fox and not cnn as source damn i must be right wing nut

did you get these facts of yours from a Liberal website? If Clinton didn't screw up so many things then Bush wouldn't have this War on Terror. Alot of things that happened are Clintons fault. I guess people were occupied with the Monica Scandal.

i will have to be honest with you here my friend...

first you are absolutley correct..

The disaster here is how the American poeple voted for him from the first place, just because his father was a president doesn't mean he can..

My friend the problem is with the American people who are Amazing people but blind to see the reality that bush and his governement are not seeking the welfare or the best of the americans, but looking for a domination of the whole world, even if the american people themself have to pay it from their blood and families,AND many american are still suffering to get the money for the day to feed their children.

its about power , not developing a whole country and millions of people.

people of the United States, must learn how to say NO. so they can live with integrity and their children can live too for many generations a head..

Good luck :)

You are so right. I think we should go to war with North Korea. But ya know, they wear uniforms, and have tanks and missiles. On second thought, lets just keep provoking the extremist into killing innocent women and children, it saves us ammunition.
Lets wait for Bush to get fufill his last term, then have him arrested and executed for war crimes, hell, lets just have all expresidents arrested and executed for war crimes. After all, they have all sanctioned military action at one time or another, and while we are at it, lets do the same for congress also, they actually grant the authority to the commander in chief to kill other people. Seems fair to me, arrest them all........

Bush doesn't know what accountability is. He has gotten away with so much cause the majority is republican in the house and he is a crook too.
