Its always about Stewart , Johnson , Gordon. No One else exist .Should name it the Gordon Cup Series instead of Nextel.

I think it's for the fans, they do all the more popular drivers...including Jr.! Unless something major happens to an "underdog" they don't show them! I think it's for ratings really!

I don't think they do. Yes, it is more than other people like Dave Blaney and Michael Waltrip, but it's because they are high profile drivers. They have a ton of fans. The fans want to see their drivers. They aren't so interested in watching cars in the rear of the field battle for 38th position.

I think they give all the high profile drivers lots of TV time, including Jr, Gordon, Johnson, Kenseth, and Stewart. Not one of them sticks out more than the other

Gordon is NASCAR golden boy.Nascar wants him to be the center of attention.Hell he wrecked Kenseth but laughted about it ,if it happened to him he would have CRIED to the tv that the other driver was doing that intentional. He could never survive a Saturday night short track race.

B/c GORDON, johnson and stewart are good. People like kurt busch or joe nemacheck??? shouldn't be alllowed to be on tv. haha

It depends on the race and who is driving strong during the race. Today there was alot of kenseth and harvick.

That hasn't been the case most of this season. But, he's the sport's biggest star, he's arguably the most, or second most popular driver, he's the winningest active driver, he's a four time champion, and he was in the lead for a big portion of today's race. I think that qualifies him to get a little TV time.

With a lot of sporting events there are camera crews from all around the world.
Its usually the competitor from your country or where the shots will be broadcast that is generally the focus.
Another prime example is the Olympics.
Gold medals everywhere but it usually your own country's accomplishments that you see.

Cause Jeff does "favors" for all the camera crew.
