Going to Brighton for a couple of days. Planning to stay in a hotel. But. My passport is in home office (my visa needs to be extended) and i have no id at all [no cc, no nin, no driving licence], but the documents from h.office, saying that they are keeping my passport. Am I gonna be asked at hotels for any id? And what can i do in this situation?

You can try taking the letter with you and any household bills in your name.
Have you thought of seeing if the police could give you a letter of identity?

A bed and breakfast wouldn't ask for i.d, neither would a pub that does accommodation

Stay in a hostel or seek asylum or defect.
