Theoretically, once every 10 months. Realistically, your body takes a break after each birth to regain some strength, so more likely once a year. So if a woman started her period at 12 and had 1 child every year until menopause, say 45, she could have 33 pregnancies. More kids though if there were any multiples (twins, triplets etc.) This is all just based on averages, and if any pregnancies miscarried etc. she could have more pregnancies. Hormone treatments could also allow her to have children for much longer, remember that 60 something year old woman in Europe somewhere?

A woman can get pregnant every 9-12 months but it will not be healthy for the mother and for the succeeding babies. It takes a mother almost 3 years to regain her full capacity after a childbirth. So, I believe if we are to give birth every 3 years commencing from the time we started menstruating, we could get pregnant 7-10 in our lifetime and more if we do not wait the 3 years. :)

Well, let's see... what's 38 (average # of years a woman is fertile) times 12 (to convert years to months) divided by 10 (9 months gestation plus 1 month at best to get pregnant again)? Of course, this would be the MOST number of times. And I seriously doubt if it's possible. Most women find it harder to get pregnant as they get older.

You only have a certain number of eggs. That count can vary. You can get pregnant as many times as you allow yourself to.

There is no exact number. Every woman has a different number of eggs. The most children by one woman is 69 children.
