A guy could use condoms for thirty years and never have one break. They are much stronger and more durable than people (with insidious socio-political agendas) give them credit for.

What they don't tell you about condoms is that even if they don't break they are still only effective 70 percent of the time even when used properly and I found that out at Planned Parenthood when I was shocked to learn that I was pregnant and had only been with one guy who I KNOW used a condom that did not break. That was ages ago and after I had a miscarriage I got right back on the pill and have been ever since. I am married now and still on the pill so I dont worry about it too much. If you do use BC and get sick and have to take an antibiotic just remember to use "back up" Condoms are better than nothing but not 100 percent reliable. Antibiotics make BC pills ineffective.

Condoms are around 85% effective, meaning that about 15% of the time it will break. Of course, this doesn't assume perfect use- if you're using them correctly every time, then the chances of breaking go down to about 2%.

Condoms are fantastic, but it's much better to use them with another method of protection, like spermicides, diaphragms, or hormonal birth control.

The condom can break more often than you think, especially if it is not put on correctly. You might want to try an additional form of BC like the pill. I had one break one time, I took the 72 hour pill following that incident.

Well if a condom bursts, he should know. But sometimes, when you're up in the moment, it can be missed. Just take the pill as a 2nd precaution.

He wouldn't necessarily know if it broke until it was time to take it off. One of the first times I used a jimmy hat, I was pretty drunk and I looked down and was like "whoa, this condom is really transparent" but then my boo told me it broke and to put another one on so I did.

Reality Honey.

The chances are huge!

You should only be making sex, if you are ready and able to handle the responsibility of a beautiful bouncing baby.
No?
Not ready?
Then you better take EVERY precaution you can think of all at once, in case one doesn't work.
Don't forget the rythum method too.
