What is your definition of happily married? I have been married for 2 years tomorrow and I can say that I am in love with my husband. I am happy. I know that when I wake up in the morning he is the person that I want to see and when I go to sleep at night he is right next to me. I know that I still get butterflies in my stomach when I see him and I know that he still gives me goosebumps when he kisses me. We have a beautiful one year old and we have another child on the way. I know that I want to grow old with him. He along with our daughter makes my world a much better place. I am happily married in my eyes. We don't have a lot of money, but we do have a lot love. I think that some people think they are happily married because of the things that their spouses give them, but mine treats me like an equal and he respects me even though I have gained some weight. I know that it doesn't matter how I feel about myself he will always think that I am beautiful and our family is our world. I wish that others could say the same thing. I think that you should only get married if you are happy and you love each other. So many people get married just to be married or to get a name. Money isn't everything and Divorce isn't the answer.

We have been through tough times, but I can't imagine life without my husband. The good and happy times out weigh the bad times. I know we were meant to be together until the end. We've been married 20 1/2 years.

I thought I was but my husband of almost nine yrs wants a divorce. We had a tough time of it the last 2 yrs, I had a baby and really needed him to help me out with the baby and our older daughter but he was on the partnership track at the law firm and that was a priority over everything else. I wanted him to succeed but I needed him to be there for me and he couldn't do it, and I had a really hard time being supportive of him with his job and over the last year he lost 140 lbs and I didn't have it in me to be on the diet band wagon so to speak. So after making partner he moved out and now wants a divorce and I am miserable because I love him more than anything and I want to work things out.

No. I'm ecstatically married. I finally figured out what love really is, and I feel like we've won the lottery. 12 years this past June. We don't just love one another; we are IN love with one another, and we've moved to a place in our relationship where stupid things like jealousy and sex just don't control us anymore. No more letting the tail wag the dog!

So far so good. I beleive I married the perfect man who is fully capable of loving me the way that I've always needed to be loved. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't always seem perfect. But, if we were to ever seperate, I'd be so very broken hearted, I know I'd never find someone like him again....
