remember your going to have to leave a space around the floor for expansion. I don't know how far off square you are but if its not too bad you can make up for the difference buy leaving a smaller gap on one end and increasing the gap on the other. trim will cover some error in construction. if that doesn't work start on the most visible wall and work toward the wall that will be covered by a sofa etc.measuring from smallest to largest point of each board on the last row snap a chalk line from the two points then cut. that will give you a neat looking job. remember the carpenter's motto: calk and paint makes us what we ain't.

I would ask a professional, but if you want to try yourself find the center line by measuring 1/2 the distance from two points at right angles to the direction you want to place the floor. this will give you the center of the room. then start by placing your first boards parallel to this "center" line working to the side walls. The last boards you may have to cut to fit if the walls are not even. I think this way your floor will look good even if the walls are not exactly parallel to the floor boards.

lay your first row of flooring straight and put it against the wall. Then with a compass, trace the contour of the wall and cut along your line.
just make sure you leave a gap when you install.
