When i ask a question on y/a that is funny, that makes me laugh (and some other people too), the kind of question that makes y/a not so serious and actually fun, i get a violation notice? For example, a question like "Hello?" or "What?" or "When's my birthday?" or "What's my middle name?", or even a question that's longer than that? Then the notice says the reason of violation is that it "isn't an answer or question"? Or that it's "gaming for points"? This is retarted! Y/a has too many rules! And too many people report abuse on innocent questions and answers! I haven't EVER reported abuse on ANYONE! So why can't you all just leave me alone?!?!

I'm in total agreement with you....the other day i got 3 reports in one day and i knew i was being targeted by someone who either was just playing around or someone who doesn't like me. there were 2 very obvious yes/no answers to yes/no questions & I got reported, but read this, because i posed a question just about this subject....as it seems, yahoo doesn't take it seriously unless it IS really a valid abuse, so don't worry.

Reported!!!! J/K. I don't know why every individual does the things they do. I myself think it's the power trip. Give the wrong people a little power and watch them abuse it. Some people on here think it's their duty to police the site. Kinda like the nerdy hall monitor at school. I've never reported anyone, I have a life and believe everyone has a right to do what ever they want. I don't like people telling me what to do, so I give them the respect I desire.

i never asked q's that were funny, but when i did, i got reported for asking stuff like,'i'll give you 2 pts. if you answer this q, so will you answer it?' and that one acctually made me laugh, and other people too, and that was on my old account. im 100% sure that someone kept reporting me for no reason just for fun! i had never been reported before until on 2 days straight i kept getting reported repeatedly. what a coincidence[is that how you spell it?]. so now i had to start over. and i've never reported anyone, either. i agree with you. why cant they LEAVE US ALONE?!

Personal questions are in violation.I am so sorry you have had these problems, but really they have their hands full.Just try to ask more realistic questions about anything not involving you personally.I know it is hard but it can only get better.Just remember do not ask any questions like Hello how are you, whats my age ,where am I from or where are you from? They tend to delete these but I have seen some squeeze through the system.

U will have to read the TOS_Terms of service notice and see why that may be a violation. They have rules to this site so go check it out!

I think you are unlucky enough to keep getting the P.C. Cops.
I don't turn anyone ether.
But I do ask questions about them.
Sorry you have had a bad time on Q&A.

It's not all of us. But, if we all leave you alone, there will be no one to answer your questions. If you don't like their rules, maybe you shouldn't play their game.
