Maybe because the Canadian government fears the wrath of the US government. All I know is I get a kick out of it whenever anyone stands up to these bullies, and I am a US citizen. Average American citizens don't have a voice here either. Voting is a joke.

I read an article earlier today about France for the same thing. Americnism is being exported everywhere - what I can't understand is why - a hamburger is a hamburger, why can't the French and everyone else build there own reputation for it?

Do they? All I know is, a huge Canadian company just bought out my city's local newspaper in Ohio. I think that road goes both ways.
