did you try planting a magic bean and going back later????? if i remember you should fly right up there!

If you mean the fenced part in front of you when you first enter (at the very back) then you need the song of shadows or something like that. You learn it after being the water temple. There's another spot that has a fence (that isn't completely blocked off). Either the longshot or go back in time and plant a bean stalk.

Get the Nocturne of Shadow from Sheik in Kakariko Village after you beat the Water Temple. It'll transport you up there, because that's where the Shadow Temple is.

After you progress through the game far enough, Sheik will teach you the Nocturne of Shadow. Play it, and it will transport you to up there so you can enter the Shadow Temple. (Be warned, that one is freeeeeeeaaaaaakkkyyyyyyy)

I'm pretty sure that you have to play the Nocturne of Shadow that Sheik taught you. The shadow temple is the hardest in the game (in my opinion) be careful!!!

try the hookshot - you need it anyways to get into the forest temple
the hookshot is also in the graveyard you hafta race that guy in teh grave

Pretty sure you have to use the long shot...you can't get up there til the end part of the game...

the shadow song you get from shiek in karioke village(as an adult after you do the water temple(i think))(or however you spell it)
