Evil implies intent. Snakes don't appear to be capable of intending in the same way that humans can. If that is indeed true then snakes cannot be evil.
Suppose though for the sake of argument that snakes can intend just like people. Just as not all people are evil I think that not all snakes would be evil. I would imagine in that case it would depend upon the individual snake; some would be evil and others would be good. Even then any given snake would probably not be evil all the time. Even the most evil people do good sometimes. Why should self aware snakes be any different?

Absolutely not! Not only are they not evil, but almost universally beneficial to mankind. Most snakes prefer to eat rodents, disease carrying rodents, or small birds or insects. Even the most dangerous of snakes would avoid striking a human if it could. There is an old Native American expression "A rattling snake never strikes" although in my observations, it should be "A rattling snake never strikes the wise" since a wise person would heed the warning of the rattle. Only a fool or child would continue to advance on a rattling snake. Most adult snakebites are from people gathering wood, or rockclimbing and not watching where they put there hands. If they were quiet enough, the snake would be surprised and would not have time to rattle.
Besides, good and evil are human concepts which cannot be applied to other beings.

Only humans are capable of truly being evil, because we are the only creatures on the face of the planet to kill without need..... Snakes only kill because they have to eat to survive or defend themselves and thier young while there are sick humans out there that kill for sick reasons and do worse things than killing like molesting children torturing people etc etc.

Only when they aren't raised right. Some Mommy and Daddy snakes just don't teach their younguns saintliness from evil.

Snakes are cute. They feel a little slimy but why do people hate creatures of this earth. They all are here for a reason.

You need to think if evil truly exists? Is it not something that we falsely created as humans?
Animals are instinctive are their Studies done on Serial Killer Sakes or species? probably not. They were just hungry.
