real ones? maybe a thrift store if you're lucky, but they probably won't be real. In japan, cheap new ones go for about a hundred bucks.

That is really not possible. My mom and I have looked for years and the average price for an authentic kimono maybe a few hundred doallars, at least the nice ones. If you go to Japan try lokking in certain areas. When i was little my mom got me one from Kyoto but it was still very pricy.

If you want a new one, I would try goinging to www.froogle.com. For used ones, I found an excellent auction site. Perhaps if you bid on one, it will be cheaper than buying a new one.

the best thing to do is go to a fabric store buy a pattern and the fabric that is the best way to find one that you will be happy with and fits you

never came across any dirt cheap...i bought mine in china town in frisco for $45 its slammin'! good luck finding one, you may just need to come out of your pockets my friend
