my cue has a flat tip, and i would like to know the cheapest way of rounding it off.

I would assume a rough grade of sandpaper to shape, and a fine sandpaper to smooth. That should do the trick. Hope everything works out for ya!

They make a little tool for that that you can pick at any store that sells cues.

They sell a cube with sand paper in the radius for that. They are cheap and work great.
