I've had tight curly hair all my life, but it seems like there are a lot more folks out there with straight hair. I know genetics has something to do with it, but where in the heck did this crazy mess come from!? Got any ideas or information?

There are sulfer bonds that tighten up the proteins chains in your hair so that it pulls up and curls around. The more bonds=the more curly.

The curliness of your hair is determined by the shape of your follicles. The rounder the follicle the straighter the hair (or is it the other way around? I can’t remember exactly…)
