I think it was Tremor. I have watched it since. My dad let me watch it when I was like 4 and I hated it and had nightmares.

A Nightmare on Elm Street.
There was just something about his face and that glove. You know how at the beginning of movies they show the logo for the company that produced it? Well, to this day, when I see a movie produced by New Line Cinema, I still think of Freddy Krueger.
And who can forget that creepy song?
1, 2, Freddy's comin' for you. . .
Gotta go now! Gonna give myself a nightmare. 4 real!

The original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I closed my eyes every time one of those kids dissappeared. I guess it was beacause everything in the movie just looked so different from what I was used to. To me it was like an evil place where they lure kids in with candy and then kill them. I've seen it since then though of course. And by the way, the new one rocks!

Nightmare of Elm Street. I have not been able to watch that movie since I was like 7 years old. Freddy Krueger scares the hell out of me. Especially with that damn glove. I still freak out at the thought of that glove.

"Jack the Ripper" starring Vincent Price! Not only did it scare us while we watched it but we had to walk home afterwards and it was pitch black outside.
I have seen it again in more recent years and could see why it would frighten anyone!
Another of those that's almost tied with it is "House of Wax"...again starring the master of fright himself.
Parents, don't let your children watch horror movies. It has more impact on them than you could ever believe!

Exorcist. I have watched it many times but still to this day it is disturbing especially after the directors cut was released. It is the most frightening movie of all time.

Although magic with Anthony Hopkins was scary, I think ET and IT are the two movies that terrified me as a kid. I had nightmares about ET till I was 10 and then IT came around and that just freaked me out, thanks dad for thinking that letting me sit up with you and watch IT would not scare me anymore..lol
