Patsy Cline never actually sang it, a Demo was recorded by someone else and Patsy Cline was suppose to listen to it as well as record it but she was killed in a Plane Crash before she ever got a chance to hear it.
Plans to ever have it recorded as an actualy single were shelved till LeAnn Rimes got a deal and recorded it

Patsy Cline is the orignal singer. I am one for the orignal versions of songs. There are only a few artists that can pull it off. LeAnn Rimes is one of those singers that can pull it off. You can download Patsy Cline's version of Blue on CMT.com.

LeAnn Rimes, has many times been touted to be the inheritor to Cline's legacy because her remarkably prosperous, powerful vocals are truly equivalent to that of Cline's. surely, Rimes has released covers of Cline's hit songs mutually with "loopy" and "I Fall to products", and has finished "loopy" on the White domicile for George W. Bush and his spouse, Laura Bush. LeAnn has also recorded the hit music "Blue", which become written for Patsy, yet she had died earlier recording it. It has grow to be of one Rimes's signature united states songs on the on the spot. tremendous question....desire you in simple terms like the answer.

Patsy Cline, she died before she could even sing it though. A texas DJ named Bill Mack wrote the song for her in the 60's

Not sure who did - I know that it was originally written for Patsy Cline but I believe that she declined to record it. But of course I may be wrong
