Patsy Cline never actually sang it, a Demo was recorded by someone else and Patsy Cline was suppose to listen to it as well as record it but she was killed in a Plane Crash before she ever got a chance to hear it.

Plans to ever have it recorded as an actualy single were shelved till LeAnn Rimes got a deal and recorded it

Patsy Cline is the orignal singer. I am one for the orignal versions of songs. There are only a few artists that can pull it off. LeAnn Rimes is one of those singers that can pull it off. You can download Patsy Cline's version of Blue on CMT.com.
