'As-Is' Means if there is a problem with what ever you purchased you are not allowed to come back at the person that sold you the said item, because you accepted the terms of taking it the way it was as it stood at the moment of purchase.

Closest I've ever heard is Nepalese (Sherpa) for "Down in the Valley"..or "Valley Floor". Don't think it's spelled quite that way though.
