The man lays in his side and the woman lays in front of him on her side both of them with knees up to form a spoon. Thus spooning.

Traditionally spooning is a term for kissing; now to most people it means you and your partner facing the same way laying down with the person in the rear holding the person in front (both on their side). No there does not need to be nekiddity or anything else, it is just the position.

when spooning the guy lays in back of his girl and they sorta like cuddle. yes i still do it with any female whose willing. I'm divorced and need all the spooning i can get. your not making love, you have your clothes on, if your naked that's not spooning that's having sex.

its when you are both laying down on your side facing the same way. one person is behind the other and cuddling them, so it makes kind of an upside down spoon shape.

I believe spooning is basically having sex from behind while laying side by side in bed. But I'm not so sure.

Ol fashioned or newfangled? Old fashioned it meant courting or dating. Newfangled it means two people laying on their sides very close together.
