Haha... Italy will be stripped of the title when the facts come out!!!! He said something like
"go back to Africa, you don't belong to Europe". Very few people know that Zidane has African
background but he has! He responded spontenously without thinking of the consequences because he
is NOT used to receiving racial slurrs.... he really looks white!
The Italian goalkeeper actually said something to that effect to Thierry Henry PRIOR to this
incident (holding Henry around the shoulder to make sure he hears), but Henry just replied "****
YOU!" without taking any physical action. Henry is noticably black so he is used to this as a
professional player, and he responded appropriately.
Notice that when the Zidane case happened it was the Italian goalkeeper who allerted the referee.
This tells you it was a pre-planned and pre-meditated phsycological and racial tactics that the
Italians used against the French to expell a French player and consequently win this
Championship. FIFA is fighting a fierce battle right now against racism in football so I'm
absolutely convinced that when the facts come out, Italy will be stripped of the title!
Finally, this should be a lesson to African players. If they ever want to win this cup they
should be prepared to receive racial slurrs on the field without taking physical action.

Well Zidane understands Italian B-cause he played 4 an Italian club ( Juventus ) so he probably cussed or disrespected him and Zidane went crazy and headbutted him...

Materrazi called Zidane a dirty arab wich is an insulting and rude comment, i think they both shouldve got a yellow card. I think that guy that wrote a lot is right.

well, teh italian fag, also called zidane sister a prostitute and called him a terrorist, theres an article in the sports editio of yahoo.com. I think italy should be stripped of the title france worked way harder, and then got some **** of racial things.I think we shoud send a petition to FIFA saying about what happened, cuz it was obviously planned.

I think they had issues with the Argentinian coach for making racial slurs about the French players. If it does come out that the players were making such comments, it will be interesting to see what FIFA does about it.
France did fantastic! I'm proud of them regardless of whether they are holding that cup!

Does it matter? What a crappy way to end a fantastic career. Now he has to live with the fact that he caused his team a chance to win the World Cup. He was a star that is going out a loser.

may I know where it FIFA is investigating... is there any evidence of it. I HOPE ITALY GET STRIP FROM THE TITLE. They don't deserve it. Maybe they should be ban from next World Cup. for even making racist comments. for those who say it doesn't matter... it actually does, b/c if a nation's players would say such racists thing, they don't deserve to be champions. No matter how good you play, stating racist comments means you are nothing but a racist. No champion should be racist.

I doubt he said anything racist. It is a ploy by the French to gain sympathy and save face for the stupid actions of one of their players. By the way, it can't be racism if both guys are white.
I think the French are poor losers.
