Am I the only Tony fan that's fed up with all the Stewart-bashers who love to see 'Smoke' do badly?

To seedoodad...Tony has been on his best behavior lately. I really think Gordon did something really DUMBA** to Kenseth...Gordon gets away with more s*it than Tony does as of recently...

Hey, I absolutely agree with you about people bashing Tony. Not only am I sick of it, but I also don't understand why people are so keen on insulting Tony Stewart and all the Tony fans out there. It's annoying, and I suppose people just have too much time on their hands...the bashing is ridiculous, annoying, and pointless. Anyway, Tony has been doing quite well, temperment-wise. He has had numerous opportunities to be really mean, but has kept his cool and tried to race hard. He has had bad moments in the past but is controlling himself well these days. Also, I am very sorry when I see Smoke do badly. He deserves to get one of the best positions, because he and his team work so hard (I mean, his pit team is amazing!!) and I know his team wants him to do well. He takes it in stride when he doesn't do well (these days, at least) and he calmly continues to plow through more races...sometimes winning and sometimes not. Tony is sort of having a tough beginning in these many races....generally not getting wonderful positions...but I think he's handling it great and will do fine in the Nextel standings. Tony's a good guy, in spite of what people are always saying. He wants to win, just like ANY other mentally sound driver! Duh! WHO WOULD be able to stay calm at all times, even when things go bad? Money, fan support, and pride are all on the line every time Tony or anyone else races...don't Tony bashers know that?? Silly!!!

After Tony's history of being a punk and driving like a manic and trying to kill Kenseth at Daytona .... Gee wonder why there are so many Tony Bashers out their!!! My driver isn't always innocent either but that's just the way the sport has always been. Without rivalry's then whats the point of Nascar?

People on here bash other peoples drivers, not just Stewart...you just bashed Gordon! I wish we could change everyone, but I guess it comes with the sport! Stewart is a great driver, he is a hothead, but he is also a funny guy and great with his fans!
BTW I think Kenseth way deserved what he got, he is the center of drama almost every race (with Stewart, with Gordon, with Kurt Busch)! Plus he wouldn't move out of Gordon's way, Gordon did nothing more than all the drivers do when they are faster than the car in front of them and they won't move over, a light tap!

I have met Tony Stewart personally and I find that he is a gentleman. He has been on his best behaviour and yes I am sick of people who are bashing him as being the bad guy. He has done wonders winning last year for top driver and I am proud of him.
Leave Tony alone he is a good guy.
Nascar forever
In all I have met a lot of the other drivers both in Cascar and Nascar and they are all pretty good guys in what they do.

i am a martin fan, but i agree with you, he is a great driver and a total for the fans driver, thought that was cool how he jumped in with the fans last week after his win. i think any guy that can win with fractures and then that time he was so sick he was puking and *pooping* all over himself, couldn't even do the winners circle deal, and won, that's some determination and skill. i woulda been thinking about that load in my pants the whole time and probably screwed up!! as far as what the others have said about his temper, he's been a good boy for a long time now, unlike jeffy gordon, the biggest whining, gay cheater of them all, shoving mild mannered farm boy matt kennseth earlier this year, nothing worse than a gay bully!!! tony also does alot of great things for kids and with the victory junction gang. i will be rooting for martin on race day, but stewart is ok in my book!!

I have been down in the pits and met a few racers...I would definately say the Tony is a great guy...He responds to his fans while Gordon ignores his....What is the sport without the fans?

Tony is a great driver! His former teammate Bobby Labonte is my fave, but no one can take away from Tony's talent! Now Gordon bashing, I get into that!

Tony is great. Anyone who doesn't like him is just jealous that he is better than their driver. Even though he took my driver out at Daytona I still like him.
I definately agree that Gordon was wrong with what he did to Matt today.

I have a small tony stewart hot wheels car that I turn on its roof before each race and set it atop my tv in hopes he crashes. He's trying to turn Nascar into wrestling acting stupid like he does. Jimmie Johnson, Kyle and Kurt Busch fall into that category as well.

I'm sick of people talking bout Tony to. His attitude is a lot better than in the past ( I didn't mind his attitude in the past though )
