Foreign Affairs he was a tough cookie. He was the original ENVIROMENTAL president. He started national parks and wilderness areas.

If you ever get a chance, visit his house, Sagamore Hill, (which itself is a national park) on the north shore of Long Island New York. A very knowledgeable park ranger will give you a tour. It is amazing.
