definitions are not stable. in other words, for any word, the meaning will fluctuate from person to person and place to place. no word has an absolute (or definite :D)definition. even Webster's (the dictionary) definitions can be argued.
the word love is just a handy way to proclaim a degree of caring. I'm sure the "love" threshold varies from person to person.

Love to me is a real mystery. If the love you talk about is romantic love with a man. The best all of us can do is to prepare for the worse and hope for best. We have to be prudent as well.

XXXXXXXXX Love is waking up next to your man watching him smile in his sleep knowing it's because of you. Love is getting a phone call in the middle of the day just to say I was thinking about you. Love is that sly look on his face as he sits across from you eating his meal, watching t.v. or just relaxing. I sometimes ask my husband why does he look at me with such a goofy smurk on his face. His answer is always. "Because I love you. "XXXXXXXX

True love is the soul's recognition of its counterpart in another.
I don't really buy that. But I just saw it in this movie earlier today, so how could I resist?

No, it's a feeling and I pity those people who can't believe in it because of something bad that happened to them.
Love is love.
A feeling.
