definatly not....sk8rs arent punks and the same for the other way around....sk8rs wear volcom, hawk, etnies, s hit like that...and punk normally wear punk band apparell

Well I think that one who's into skating can like punk, and a punk can like to skate, but as skating has become much more mainstream, I believe to say that the two were synomous would be false.
But then again, punk has become much more mainstream as well.Just call me an oldtimer I suppose.Back in the day, both were considered rebellious "types". How things have changed.[heh]
Ahh well, stereotypes are so mundane anyhow. I'm in my 30's,have a kid, and love punk music and enjoy watching those who can skate. . . I wouldn't label myself anything. Like what you like.

nope, there are Skater Punks, but some punks aren't skater, so they shouldnt be the same thing.

I remember the two were close in 1987 but they are slightly different but many can be both.
